Quoting junk removal means a site visit or a long back-and-forth over text
Caveats
Recently published template (October 2026) with a short track record. Needs a Twilio number that can receive MMS (US business texting requires A2P 10DLC registration; costs UNKNOWN) and an OpenAI API key. Customer photos are sent to OpenAI. AI estimates from photos can be wrong, so set a conservative approval threshold and state that the final price is confirmed on site. Only text customers who texted you first or otherwise agreed to texts.

- Customer texts photos to your Twilio number.
- Photos go to OpenAI Vision to identify items, load size and restricted materials.
- OpenAI maps them to your Sheets price list, and code calculates the total.
- Quotes within your rules are texted automatically; large, unclear or restricted jobs wait for the owner's YES by text.
- Customer replies YES with a day/time and a Calendar hold is booked.
- Every 30 minutes, remind the owner of pending approvals, nudge customers once and expire old quotes.
